Beta Reader Appreciation
as well as others
Words can't really express how much I appreciate all you have done for me by Beta Reading my stories, putting up with some of my repeated writing errors over and over again, your compliments, your opinions, and so much more concerning my stories. So, I thought I'd place something on my site to express my feelings of appreciation. It still doesn't seem like enough, but it's the best I can do. I don't think I have found more wonderful Beta Readers and I hope if any of you are not available, that I find others who are just as good to add to this list. Sorry, if it seems a bit mushy, but I don't know how else to express myself and how I feel, because words really can't do that. (Forgive the music, but it's us.)
First and foremost: Mary S. I went nuts looking for someone to beta read my stories when you were on holiday/vacation after the wonderful job you did Beta Reading "No Regrets" for me. I haven't found a more wonderful beta reader and I don't think I could do without you as a Beta. Unfortunately, I had to while you were away and the following Beta Readers stepped up to bat (who are also great). Even so, I missed you while you were away, but I'm glad you are back and have been able to Beta Read more of my Voyager stories. 
I have learned a lot working with you, even though I do make some of the same mistakes still. lol You seem to put up with me, same mistakes and all. You are absolutely wonderful! I don't think what I have said here has expresses my appreciation fully. There are just no words to express my feelings.
Next is Elorie: Sorry he's not naked, but I hope he will do Elorie. ;) When I screamed "Help! I need a Beta Reader!" you and Aeris were there for me. Thanks. Again, words alone can not express how much I appreciate all of your help. You have also been a good listener (even when I moan about my sons), have been very encouraging, even have reminded me that I am a writer even when I've doubted myself. You've been my rock when I've needed it most.
Last, but certainly not least, Aeris: Who's genius never ceases to amaze me, along with her knowledge of Trek trivia. I ask for a star date, or time line or anything concerning Trek for a story and you have not failed to answer my questions. Not forget that you are an exceptional speller and also listened to me moan about my sons. lol Plus, you have had wonderful suggestions when I needed them. Now I just need to apply them to my untitled story I'm working on currently and get out of my hole I've dugged myself into with that story. lol I will finish it though! Like I've said, words aren't enough and I'm glad to have you as a beta and friend.
Others I'd like to acknowledge (while I'm at it):
She hasn't Beta Read for me yet, but I feel a need to mention her for she has been a good listener, supportive, and has done wonderful things, not just for me, but for many others. Maybe this should be called my appreciation page. lol Anyway the other person I'd like to express my feelings for is (albeit maybe a little mushy too):
KJ: This AKJ isn't wearing a towel, but still reminds me of you, KJ. :) I really enjoy your humour and how it makes me laugh even when I'm having one of the worst days. I love your wisdom, sometimes it even gives me a smile because I remember the same words coming from someone else I loved. You've also been encouraging, a good listener, brought me up when I was down, and most of all, you seem to be there to give a helping hand whenever someone needs you. I needed a Beta Reader and you suggested a very good one. You even put up with my teasing! Like the old saying goes: If I didn't like you, I wouldn't tease you. I can't think of a better friend anyone could have. Thanks for everything, but still words aren't enough to express how much I appreciate you.
This page will probably grow in the future. I'll let you know when it does.
